My role in the overhauling of www.allparts.com was integral and multifaceted. In addition to the immediate improvements evident in these images, I recognized the need for a new site and presented my vision and plan to the purchasers.
Though my contributions are ongoing, those pertaining to the redesign and roll-out of the site are as follows:
- Overall template concept, structure, and flow
- Rewriting and introduction of content
- Development of 3,800 -product inventory / category structure
- Placement of key elements such as menus and panel ads
- Implementation and maintenance of social networking presence
- Inventory and customer database migrations to Volusion
- Worked with vendors to acquire product images and specification sheets
- Employed JavaScript programmer to bring about essential site functionality not offered by Volusion
Marfreless Lounge
Marfreless is a Houston landmark lounge known for its dark romantic atmosphere. After their previous domain and site slipped away due to an oversight, they needed a complete rebuild from the ground up, as well as strong social media integration. The new marfrelesshouston.com received:
- Complete site and content rebuild
- Facebook and Twitter account setups and integrations
- Venue claims for Google Place, Yelp, Foursquare, etc.
- Logo and art rework
Great Southern Music
Great Southern Music is an original and old school institution for guitar repairs and music lessons, and their original website reflected that old school look for far too long. The new www.gsmmusic.com sports a custom template with full CMS and blogging functionality.

Shirtsthatgo.com – One of Volusion’s featured stores, ShirtsThatGo is an e-commerce store that sells kids’ shirts with printed themes inspired by planes, trucks, trains, and more. I was contracted by the store owner to provide an on-site SEO audit so that he could better utilize the Volusion software’s SEO toolset.
